Quest® Launches Partner-Ready DaaS and Cloud HD Video Conferencing Solutions Enhanced Portal to Serve as a One-Stop Resource for Partners

Sacramento, CA: September 12, 2012 — Quest has significantly ramped up its commitment to its growing number of Authorized Technology Partners with today’s announcement of two new partner-ready Cloud solution offerings — Desktop-as-a-Service and Cloud HD Video Conferencing — and the launch of its enhanced Partner Portal.

Partners Turn to DaaS and HD Video Conferencing Solutions as New Revenue Stream

Organizations from SMBs to enterprises are looking for ways to support the consumerization of IT. Quest’s new Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) enables partners’ customers to shift the hassles of end-user desktop device management to the Cloud. End-user desktops look and perform as usual and remain secure even as the desktop images are rapidly deployed on-demand to virtually any device (including employee-owned) anywhere.

As more employees are working remotely and travel budgets continue to shrink, the need for quality video conferencing is increasing and yet traditional solutions remain too costly and impractical for many organizations. Quest’s new Cloud HD Video Conferencing enables partners to provide their customers with an affordable, simple-to-use HD multipoint conferencing experience that spans mobile, desktop, room systems, and immersive telepresence environments – and is easy to dynamically scale to customers' changing business requirements.

Enhanced Partner Portal

Quest has also launched its enhanced Partner Portal a comprehensive collection of ready-made sales and marketing resources and exclusive C-level communications tools, which partners can easily co-brand. In addition, the new Partner Portal makes quick work of registering engagement opportunities, tracking contracts, and interacting with Quest’s dedicated Partner Account Managers.

Among the resources available:

  • Quest’s Partner Blog — the quickest, easiest way for partners to stay on top of fast-changing technologies and opportunities
  • Marketing, Sales and Training Resources — what partners need to know about today’s key technology solutions and how best to sell them
  • Access to Quest’s exclusive end-user Assessment Programs – a series of powerful, free “customer conversation accelerators” that turn sales calls into contracts
  • Quest’s simple-to-use Partner Opportunity Registration site — find it at

"Quest is deeply committed to helping our partners benefit as the IT landscape evolves," said Adam Burke, Quest’s Director of Partner Program. "Our recent Cloud solutions and enhanced Partner Portal are designed to help our partners immediately start driving sales and recurring revenue."
