Quest Achieves Advanced Security Specialization from Cisco U.S.A.

Annual List Ranks North America’s Top 500 Technology Integrators

Sacramento, CA,— June 17, 2013 – Quest® announced today that it has achieved the Advanced Security Specialization from Cisco®. This specialization recognizes Quest as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support comprehensive, integrated Cisco network security solutions.

“As a Cisco Gold Partner, Quest continually pursues the training and certifications that will add the most value to our clients,” states Tim Burke, Quest President and CEO. “The Advanced Security Specialization from Cisco will augment our well-established Security offering to better serve our client-base in protecting their IT investment and reaching their technology goals.” The Cisco Advanced Security Specialization is designed to help partners deliver a Cisco Self-Defending Network made up of integrated, collaborative and adaptive security solutions. This specialization enables partners to address the needs of a wide range of customers, from enterprise-scale organizations to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It focuses on the entire suite of Cisco security products, including Cisco Security Agent; the Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System (Cisco Security MARS); Cisco Network Admission Control and Cisco IOS® Software.

The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides partners with the training required to build sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills, and then validates their skills through a third-party audit. Cisco resale partner certifications—Select, Premier, Silver and Gold—represent an increasing breadth of skills across key technologies and a partner’s ability to deliver integrated networking solutions. Cisco resale partner specializations—SMB, Express, Advanced and Master—reflect an increasing depth of sales, technical and service expertise in particular technologies. Achieving Cisco Advanced Security Specialization also provides Quest access to comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco.
