Quest Achieves Cisco IP/Telephony Specialization Status
(SACRAMENTO, CA -- June 8, 2001) Quest, a technology consulting and management company, announced today that it has achieved IP/Telephony Specialization Status from Cisco Systems, Inc.
To achieve this elite status, Quest had to complete a very focused effort aimed at increasing the level of both Cisco sales and support capabilities. Quest additionally had to meet rigorous Cisco-certified personnel requirements. These high standards ensure that Quest's sales and support team is appropriately staffed to properly sell, design, install, and support Cisco IP/Telephony products throughout the United States.
Cisco's IP/Telephony Specialization program provides its channel partners with the knowledge, training and resources to plan, design and deploy Cisco IP/Telephony solutions within Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Video, Voice and Integrated Data). AVVID is a standards-based, open-systems, end-to-end architecture and product set that enables convergence of voice, data and video on single infrastructure.
"This is an outstanding accomplishment for Quest and demonstrates their desire to develop expertise in the new world of complex networking technologies," said John Osley, Cisco's Specialization Program Manager. "Quest and the Cisco account management team will continue working to develop and enhance our mutual capabilities in supporting Quest and their customers."
